Winter Farm wins two major innovation awards
The Quebec innovation community gathered in two events on November 17 in Montreal. Winter Farm proudly distinguished itself at the Innovation Awards ceremony of the “Conseil de la Transformation Alimentaire du Québec (CTAQ)”, and at the Innovation Awards Gala of the “Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l’innovation du Québec (ADRIQ)”.
Prix Technologie & productivité – CTAQ
This award rewarded the innovative aspect of a project, its capacity for technology transfer and its impact on the company business.
Prix Intelligence artificielle – ADRIQ
This award rewarded data valorization, machine learning, operations research and any other technique related to artificial intelligence to increase the competitiveness of a company in its market.
These two awards are a recognition of Winter Farm’s agricultural industrialization potential and its ability to make Quebec’s local agriculture a more resilient, sustainable, and competitive sector of activity thanks to technology: “Winter Farm’s team has profited from the support of government authorities, financial partners, of academic research and of various innovation support programs. It is this pooling of various expertise that transforms good ideas into concrete solutions. We will continue to promote a culture of innovation in agriculture in the years to come.” – Alain Brisebois, President and CEO of Winter Farm.
